Hi, patw!
This was a neat historic spot, and the cache was an easy First Find once we learned how to navigate that convoluted ‘system’ of roads in the immediate area! There were certainly plenty of signs to help get us there, though. Lots of fun, even on a freezing cold day with snow flurries in the air. Thanks!

Hi!
We’d visited this park earlier in the year for the Monet Cache, but we didn’t know about this marker at that time. It’s neat! The area was deserted on this chilly Sunday, except for one woman walking a dalmatian. It’s an attractive and significant spot… thanks for sharing it with us!

Hi, Patrick and Shirley!
We tried this one after “Wheelin’ and Dealin’” and just before “Round Robin”. Everything went well at each waypoint, though we had a little adventure at the final stage. We found the location, made a note of the required information, and were going back to the car when a woman came running up to us saying “Don’t go anywhere! Don’t go anywhere!” It sounded as though she wanted to give us a tour of the place. But when we entered, a man stepped out, introduced himself and asked Aaron who he was. Aaron gave his name, and the man looked at him quizzically and asked “Uhh, and why should I know you?” Apparently we’d walked in on some kind of private party and book-signing, and we weren’t on the guest list. (I guess in that case maybe we were the uninvited visitors?!) He told us it would be better if we returned on a summer Saturday. I wouldn’t have minded trying to grab a sample from the buffet or at least the candy dish, but we felt it was best just to leave. This cache was a fun, interesting adventure — we loved it! And we learned a lot. Thanks.

Hi, Patrick and Shirley!
What a great location! The landscape was really beautiful and we spent a good amount of time there, even though the best time for foliage has passed and we were being snowed on as we explored the area. The cache was an easy find only because, as you said, there aren’t too many likely hiding spots here. It was, however, well hidden and I doubt a non-geocacher would ever find it. We took the Bright Sea Geo-log travel bug, and in its place left a small Lego set. This spot would be lovely (although buggy ) all lit up on a summer night. Thanks for sharing with us yet another little-known treasure!
